How Long Does A Toreba Prize Take To Register

Alright, my showtime two figure shipments of 2020 arrived yesterday and today. This time it's all about Racing Mikus (and more than Racing Mikus are coming later thus month). The three figures I'll exist taking a wait at today are Racing Miku 2010 of GSC'S Pop Up Parade lineup, Racing Miku 2018 Challenging to the Top ver. by Aquamarine, and Racing Miku 2018 Thai ver. from Freeing.

Starting time up, 2010 Racing Miku

Now, the 2010 version hasn't really been my favourite Racing Miku design. I do like the costume, redjuice's artwork much less. But when this figure was announced I knew I'd buy it, she's not closely modeled later the original illustration which was a plus for me. As well she was quite inexpensive and then it made sense to go her. This figure is a role of Goodsmile Company'due south Pop Up Parade production line, which ways cheaper price than bodily scale figures, but besides less particular and simpler sculpt & paint. The quality is above regular prize figures though, and then this lineup is basically an in-betwixt choice of the two. Pop Up Parade figures are non-scale btw.

I like the fact that she is small and doesn't take upward likewise much space. Her elevation is about 18.five cm with the stand included.

Her face yet has that "redjuice look"

Like I said, I like the costume design of the 2010 Racing Miku. The generous utilize of orange makes information technology stand out from the usual designs for Miku. I'm a bit unsure how I feel about the finishing on this effigy though. Her dress are shiny, which kinda goes against how I imagine the material would be. It merely looks a bit off to me.

Plainly you lot can't expect a huge corporeality of details on a budget figure like this, merely I suppose the level is decent for the toll. The tool pocket on her hip could be better though, now in that location'south just tools sticking out from an orange chapeau. Maybe they could've made it to accept a chip of depth and paint the inside dark so it'd look better? That'southward simply a pocket-size thing though.

All in all, Racing Miku 2010 is a good purchase, peculiarly if y'all're just getting into figure collecting and don't have a lot of coin to spend while withal looking for higher quality than prize figures.

Adjacent, Racing Miku 2018 Challenging to the Top. I didn't buy Goodsmile'due south figure of the 2018 Miku since I wasn't a fan of the infinite hogging pose, so I ordered this one instead. She's 1/7 scale, but requires merely modest infinite thanks to the pose. (You may have noticed I'm talking virtually space over again, that'southward considering I'm currently suffering from lack of brandish space, I'm trying to find a bigger apartment this year).

I wasn't excited about the 2018 design initially, only information technology has grown on me over time, I quite similar information technology at present. I can't say this figure has stunning details, just that's simply considering the costume blueprint itself is quite elementary. Everything is executed well in this figure, her staff was easy to put in identify and the twintails aren't even removable, so the most common associates trouble was absent in this effigy.

Paintjob looks good all around, and I admire her blue gradient thigh-highs!

Finally we have another 2018 Racing Miku, the Thai ver. to be exact. Each Super GT season includes one race in Thailand, and Goodsmile Racing has had a special Thai version of their mascot for it. Thai versions are pretty much simply a variation of normal Racing Miku, but with tan and less clothes.

When it comes to 2018 Racing Miku, I actually similar the Thai version more than the normal design. She has an aura fit for summertime and rut, and I call back the pose of the original illustration is very beautiful. The pose has been recreated well in the figure.

She didn't crave whatsoever associates which was nice. But attach her to the base of operations, put the golden hair ornaments in identify and that'south it. I wish the base was different though, a plain white base of operations is a bit deadening. The skirt and tiptop are loose, but non removable. That's a bit of a shame, it would've been a fun pick to didplay her with the bikini she's wearing under them.

I do understand that making those parts removable would've not been an option, every bit it would require the figure being made of split up parts (similar some GSC figures, where the legs and hips are a separate office from the upper torso, allowing yous to remove the carve up skirt part from between if you wish).

At present I'll have to try and find a place for these three, which is a chore in itself. I already have figures scattered effectually because my display cabinet tin can only agree so much. I'll take to have some prize figures out from there to make space for these. (It's meliorate to put the expensive figures ina rubber place and have the cheap prize figures on open shelves/desk/wherever. Only in example something were to happen. Prize figures are easier to fix too)

The adjacent time I'm getting new figures, it'll exist more Racing Mikus, though I remember they won't make it before Miku Expo, so my next entry will probably be most that. We'll see.
